"You don't train a dog in a training hall, jerking his neck or even giving him food treats. You train him using life rewards." Ian Dunbar
Here is the amazing part - Rates are for a private, tailored to your dog, lesson outside, not a group lesson with unruly dogs in a busy store with many distractions.
I base my training on pack leadership and dog psychology, not treat training. The dog does what you ask because you are the pack leader and to keep you happy, not for a treat. Treats are still a part of the dog's life, just not the main motivating reason for proper behaviour.
Once you have booked my initial consultation please pay a $50.00 deposit via Interac to firstname.lastname@example.org. I have to implement this now due to people not showing up without any cancellation notice. The $50.00 will be forfeit if less than 24 hours is given for a cancellation. The deposit will be applied to your next session when proper cancellation notice is given.
If you do not think my time is worth a simple text message to notify me of a cancellation, then I am not the trainer for you.
I have to put this message due to several millennials missing appointments and being "just too busy" to text a cancellation notice, and still expect a continuation of services. I have limited space and there is always another dog that could fill the vacancy.
Due to my very low rates tipping is appreciated but not expected.
Please fill out the form on the contact page when you are ready to book your first appointment.
If you do not have time to fill out the form I will not have time to help you.
My low rates mean I am very busy and have limited time for phone consultations. Please read through my entire site, as I may be too busy working to have time to explain everything over the phone.
I will lock in my rate for repeat customers for the life of your dog.
|Initial consultation and lesson: 90 minutes||$100.00|
|60 minutes: Private Lesson||$65.00|
|90 minutes: Private Lesson||$100.00|
My initial consultation and lesson will be 1.5 hours at my home. I do the first consultation on the weekend and some weekday mornings. This longer visit will help me assess your dog’s needs, create communication between us, and enable me to suggest the best training environment for your dog. A well-trained dog will reduce you and your dog's stress and make for a much happier pack.
Any home lesson or off my site lessons will be a flat fee of $140.00. This will cover drive time(depending on location) and include a 1.5 hour lesson.
I am a firm believer in positive reinforcement. No shock or prong collars are used - no corporal punishment of any kind is ever used on my best friends. When used correctly these tools have their place, as a last resort. Too often the operator of the tool is not trained and the dog suffers unnecessarily. I witness it on a regular basis.
I only offer afternoon group walks now. You drop the dog off at my home before 11:00 am.
|Initial consultation: 30 minutes||$30.00|
|Full Day: Includes 2 hour pack walk||$40.00|
|Overnight: Includes 2 hour pack walk||$50.00|
You bring the dog to my place for the initial consultation. This short consultation will determine if your dog is ready to join in on pack walks or will need training before being allowed to join. I will also give you a short lesson on my method for controlling my pack of dogs.
|Service||Drop Off||Pick Up|
|Full Day: Includes 2 hour pack walk||07:00 - 11:00||04:00 - 06:00|
My drop off and pick up times are flexible. If you need service outside the posted times, I will try to accommodate you. Rather than a set fee per hour, I have decided to rely on people's goodwill and accept tips for good service. My goal is to keep every aspect of my business stress-free and affordable.
All the dogs in my pack walks receive training. The newest members receive as much guidance as required to achieve proper behaviour. Not all dogs are created equal, so results may vary. There are always positive results.
Cage-free home environment with a big beautiful yard, often referred to as an oasis by my customers.
